Electrician
Job Description
Brackenfell based electrical company in need of a suitable qualified Electrician. The ideal candidate will be a qualified trade tested Electrician with specific skills and experience. Proven track record of wiring of single and three phase installations.
You will be responsible for the following:
Assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of electrical equipment
Installation of electrical boxes, DB Boards, other enclosures, conduits (pipes, tubing, trunking), ground leads and connecting of power to different equipment / machinery
Wiring of circuit breakers, transformers and electrical equipment
Performing maintenance and identifying maintenance requirements on electrical equipment
Fault finding
Ensuring that preventative maintenance is executed according to schedule
Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment
Performing ad-hoc duties
Reading and understanding of electrical drawings
Commercial and industrial electrical installation services (three phase and single phase)
Power continuity
Fault findings
Rectifying distribution boards
Securing all open joints
Ensure that equipment and machinery is maintained at the highest level and runs efficiently
Must adhere to the relevant electrical codes, procedures & safety policies
Solar Installations
Qualifications
N3 equivalent Electrical qualification (NQF 4), Electrician Trade
Must be a qualified electrician with a valid trade tested certification through an accredited institution (single phase)
Must have a Wireman's License
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience within this industry
Issuing Certificate of Conformance
Skills:
Excellent communicator, self-driven
Be able to work within a team & independently
Willing to work overtime
Valid driver's license
