Software System Support Officer - OlifantsfonteinGENERALThe Software Systems Support Officer is responsible for attending to software-system-related matters and tickets.The Systems Support Officer reports to the Group Integration Manager (GIM) and Group CTO.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide day-to-day support to all business units via the Extranet ticketing system.Create user manuals, flow charts and SOPs to facilitate and assist the end-users.Report and escalate any programming issues/bugs in FMS/Extranet to the GIM, CTO or Developers.Assist, train and guide new users in using FMS, Magic Eye (ME), Extranet and other software systems.Update users with any new developments that may affect standard operating procedures.Gain extensive knowledge of FMS, Extranet and ME to have a deep understanding of the systems.Ensure that data quality is maintained, and irregular system entries are communicated to the GIM.Ability and willingness to work from home or anywhere outside the standard working space and hours.Perform other tasks as may be required by the CEO, GIM or CTO.BEHAVIOURS / PERSONAL COMPETENCESGood communication and cooperative skills.High detail orientation (accuracy and quality orientation when working).Hard, energetic worker with high levels of responsibility, accountability and dedication.Results-orientated and good time management skills.Patient and able to handle similar and repetitive requests daily.Confidence to self-record training videos and material.Sound judgment and ability to lead by example by demonstrating ethical and moral behaviour whilst ensuring compliance with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Security and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption policies.Profile: DC/ABBACKGROUND/TECHNICAL COMPETENCES:Academic Background: Relevant degree/diploma in IT and software systems-related fields.Experience required (min/max): 0 - 5 years with relevant experience in a similar role within any IT, software systems, transport, and logistics industry.IT Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Windows.Knowledge of MySQL/SQL databases is an enormous benefit.Others: Excellent level of the English language, both written and spoken.LI: Minimum of 18.WORKING HOURS07:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday.Job Type: Full-timePay: R10,000.00 - R20,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):Do you have degree/diploma in IT and software systems-related fields?Ability to Commute:Olifantsfontein, Gauteng (Required)Ability to Relocate:Olifantsfontein, Gauteng: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required)
