Job Objectives:
Were looking for a results-driven Technical Support officer with excellent computer and development skills to be the key interface between the Development team in India and the local project team to ensure efficient maintenance, upgrade and roll out of Omang device features
Maintaining schedules and prioritisation of Development work to be completed
Testing of features prior to release to ensure zero user disruption
Identifying bugs and challenges with current software features and design and suggesting improvements
Ensure Users get any technical assistance that they need
Ensuring all technical processes within the production & deployment processes run smoothly
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with the Cubet Development team in India
Maintain schedules and prioritisation of Development work to be completed
Liaise with Cubet to ensure all planned feature enhancement work is on track and all maintenance work happens on schedule
Identify bugs and challenges with current software features and design and suggest improvements
Focus on user experience for continuous improvement
Perform user testing prior to release of any upgrades/features and provide feedback to Cubet
Assist with development and testing on Omang 3&4
Attend to all technical queries from users and the Odin Ed Team
Identify, assist and report on technical challenges limiting engagement
Identify and solve connectivity challenges limiting engagement, including travel to user locations to test and trouble shoot
Assist with the technical processes linked to production and customisation of devices where necessary
Liaise with mobile network service provider for SIM locking of all devices to be deployed
Establish and Maintain data integrity of the back-end
Develop automated and interactive dashboards for schools and sponsors
Training of team members on any back-end or front end software queries/requirements
Overlap with Deployment Officer and Engagement Officer to ensure users receive the correct training, communication & knowledge of the Omang device to optimise their engagement
Achieve and maintain agreed upon technical enhancement and support targets within schedule
Supply management with reports as required
Continuously improve through feedback
