Are you experienced with strong software and computer literacy and have experience cold calling and managing lead generation?

Our client in the Northern Suburbs requires a motivated sales driven person with the energy to join a scaling internet start-up business.

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
• Proven track successful in selling or setting up meetings telephonically or via social channels
• 3 years sales experience, or 1 yearsxe2x80x99 experience and a degree/diploma, preferably with experience in lead generation
• Cold calling experience is a must
• Experience in the sale of technology is beneficial
• A strong affinity with IT and a high level of computer literacy is essential
• Good writing skills xe2x80x93 excellent communication over e-mail, and the ability to prepare initial product proposal documents
• Good knowledge of social networks
• Basic knowledge of word, excel and Outlook
• Independent learning xe2x80x93 Ability to grasp knowledge of the clientsxe2x80x99 products and solutions quickly and understand how these offerings meet/fulfil business needs

DUTIES

• Lead generation to support achieving the companyxe2x80x99s sales objectives
• Research into target contacts within target companies
• Making telephonic or via social channels contact with the primary goal of generating interest and setting up meetings, initially with a manager and thereafter independently
• Focus on generating leads, cold calling, & other techniques to sell
• Office based in cape town but must be able to travel regularly for work.
• During the growth period of the company there would also be a requirement to act as a back up point of contact for support queries and assist in developing support and marketing materials

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
