Job Summary Hire Resolve is proud to partner with a reputable client in the banking sector, currently seeking a dynamic and community-driven Social Responsibility & Marketing Officer to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract at their Head Office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to corporate social investment initiatives while gaining exposure to marketing and B-BBEE compliance functions within a respected financial institution.
Responsibilities
Assess sponsorship requests and verify compliance with regulations
Conduct background checks on applicants and maintain communication
Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and submission packs for committee reviews
Ensure all documentation is compliant and prepare sponsorship recommendations
Communicate with internal departments and applicants regarding sponsorship decisions
Organize events and manage media coverage for sponsorships
Manage sponsorship budgets and coordinate with suppliers for execution
Process payments related to sponsorship projects
Prepare documentation for internal and external meetings
Attend and support meetings, follow up on committee decisions
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and support sponsorship audits
Collaborate with Shariah Audit team on compliance matters
Manage BEE certification processes for suppliers
Oversee legacy and community-based BEE projects
Conduct market research and performance analysis of loyalty programs
Use insights to improve and align loyalty programs with business goals
Manage the charity loan program for businesses
Ensure compliance and repayment tracking of charity loans
Coordinate legal handover for late payments
Prepare and submit monthly Executive Committee reports
Requirements
Diploma in Public Relations is advantageous
Financial background is advantageous
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in Corporate Social Investment or similar role
