Who are we looking for: A social media manager who has a combination of creative, strategic, and technical skills to manage social media campaigns for multiple clients and help them achieve their branding and communications goals.

What will you do:

  • You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers for each of our clients. You will manage each client's image in a cohesive way to achieve their marketing goals.
  • As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express each client's views creatively.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to handle a social media presence for more than just one brand, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement for every client.
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts' design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
What must you have:
  • Experience: A social media manager with at least 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in an agency setting with experience working on multiple client accounts.
  • Social Media Marketing Knowledge: The candidate should have a deep understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. They must also have a knowledge on trends, and best practices. They should be familiar with different types of social media campaigns, including paid advertising, content creation, influencer partnerships, and community management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as the social media manager will be responsible for creating and curating content for multiple clients and communicating with clients on a regular basis.
  • Creativity: A social media manager must have a creative mindset and be able to think outside the box. They should be able to come up with engaging content ideas and be skilled in graphic design or video production.
  • Analytical Skills: The candidate should be able to analyse social media data and identify trends to optimize their campaigns. They should be familiar with social media analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and be able to use this data to make informed decisions.
  • Project management: Strong project management skills to manage multiple client accounts and ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
  • Customer Service Skills: A social media manager will often be the first point of contact for customers who have questions or concerns. They should be able to provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork Skills: A social media manager will often work closely with other departments, such as marketing, PR, and customer service. They should be able to collaborate effectively with others and work as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is often preferred, along with previous experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Later, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital marketing techniques would be a plus.
