Position : Social Media Manager/Content Specialist/EA
Work Hours (Client) : Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm PST Full-time
Pay Range : $1000 - $2000 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)
Location of Search : South Africa
Work Location : REMOTE
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Social Media Manager/Content Specialist/EA to support a busy executive coach and founder based in California. This role blends professional and personal assistance, providing the right candidate with a dynamic, varied, and rewarding workload. You will be instrumental in helping streamline operations, manage communications, and free up time for strategic growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Support

  • Assist with LinkedIn content posting, strategy, and engagement
  • Support expansion into email newsletter, X, Instagram, and/or Facebook.
  • Assist with website redesign (
) and manage content updates (e.g. positioning, testimonials) * Curate content from industry leaders for personal learning and client communication
  • Maintain and update client email lists and newsletters
  • Draft and edit social media posts, newsletters, and presentations
  • Track engagement metrics and report insights to optimize content strategy
  • Assist in planning webinars, virtual events, and workshops
  • Assist with book project research
Administrative & Organizational Support
  • Manage calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate client appointments
  • Prioritize and respond to emails, ensuring nothing critical is missed
  • Organize files, documents, and resources across Google Drive and other platforms
  • Assist with research, data consolidation, and summarization of key insights
  • Support and track client development outreach (e.g. personalized emails)
  • Manage client onboarding
  • Support invoicing and payment tracking (approx. a dozen invoices per month)
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including flights and accommodations
  • Prepare briefing notes, agendas, and follow-up summaries for meetings
  • Track key projects, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure everything stays on schedule
Adhoc tasks
  • Assist with family scheduling, event coordination, and research for travel or vacations
  • Coordinate vendors, household maintenance, and other logistical needs
  • Provide comprehensive support to streamline personal and professional activities
Minimum Requirements:
Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills
Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • 4-5+ years of Social Media/Content Creation experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks
  • Proficient with G Suite, Google Calendar, email tools, and AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)
  • Experienced in and comfortable with social media management and content curation
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable managing both professional and personal tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Apple ecosystem (Mac, iPhone, Apple Notes)
  • Familiarity with AI-based productivity tools and automation
  • Experience with invoicing tools (e.g.,
) * Interest in leadership and personal development subject matter
