Financial Wealth Holdings, a Financial Services company in the heart of Cape Town is looking for a vibrant Social Media Assistant. We require an innovative,creative and self motivated individual with a track record for success in Social Media marketing.

The primary function of the Social Media Assistant is to support the Marketing and Social Media team in creating, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on engaging content across various platforms. This role will assist in growing the brand's online presence and community engagement.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Drafting and scheduling daily content for social media channels Monitoring inboxes, mentions, and comments, and responding or escalating where necessary Assisting in the execution of content calendars and campaign timelines Supporting the creation of reports on engagement, reach, and performance metrics Identifying opportunities for increased brand visibility and community interaction Assisting with basic design, video editing, or content formatting tasks Supporting internal teams with digital content requests and coordination

Competencies:

Must be computer literate (Windows 10 preferred) A minimum of 1 year experience in a social media, content creation, or digital marketing role Familiarity with social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and TikTok Experience using scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer is advantageous

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills Good understanding of social media best practices, trends, and algorithms Basic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools Organised with excellent planning and time management skills Ability to multi-task and manage several social media accounts or campaigns simultaneously Creative thinker who can contribute fresh ideas and engaging content Able to follow brand guidelines and tone of voice Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality content output Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
