Job Purpose



The Marketing Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative, digital, and creative support to the Brand & Marketing Team. The role supports the effective execution of marketing initiatives, strengthens online presence, and ensures consistent brand representation across platforms while maintaining high standards of organisation, communication, and attention to detail.

Digital & Online Presence

Manage and maintain Kumon South Africa's online presence, including the website, Facebook and Instagram page and Google Business Profiles.

Create content that ensures brand alignment across digital platforms.

Post content and monitor engagement, including responding to comments and questions.

Create and maintain microsites for Kumon Study Centres.

Provide social media insights and reports when required.

Creative & Brand Support

Design creative, brand-compliant marketing materials and content for the Kumon company and Kumon Instructors.

Support campaigns by creating visuals and content for digital, print, and social media platforms.

Ensure all content adheres to Kumon brand guidelines and quality standards.

Administrative & Team Support

Provide excellent administrative support to the Brand & Marketing Team through meticulous organisation, record-keeping, and coordination of marketing activities.

Maintain accurate databases, reports, and marketing records.

Assist with scheduling, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

Communicate courteously and professionally with Kumon Instructors, parents, suppliers, and internal Kumon teams.

Respond to enquiries timeously and ensure clear, accurate information sharing.

Quality & Attention to Detail

Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all marketing materials, communications, and administrative tasks.

Proofread content and ensure accuracy before publication or distribution.

EDUCATION

A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent

Fluent in both written and verbal English.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Marketing Assistant or in a similar marketing support role (Preferred)
