Minimum Requirements

B Degree/ B Tech in Civil Engineering/ NQF 7 equivalent Professional registration (Grad. Eng) / Registered with ECSA Applicable driver's licence Computer literacy 3 years' experience in water demand management/ water conservation environment

Core Responsibilities

:


Provide technical and policy advice on and implement Water Conservation and Water Demand Management activities Plan, implement and monitor Water Conservation and Water Demand Management projects Contribute and ensure reduction of Non-Revenue Water and management of municipal Water Demand Adapt to and implement changes in Water Conservation and Water Demand Management strategy and business plans, laws, regulations relevant to the industry practices Prepare, advise and comment on engineering policies as required to various stakeholders Effectively allocate and utilise resources in order to perform contracted work outputs and meet identified objectives Monitor external information and ensure efficient knowledge of related acts, regulations and regulatory framework and implement accordingly Compile and analyse water balance and report on operational plans that demonstrate achievements against targets and improvements Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and financial reports in accordance with statutory and council presenting requirements Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders that promote cross functional process delivery solutions
