Role purpose

The purpose of this role is to generate leads, build pipeline, and close off Opportunities on both our fixed and Mobile propositions on a pre-defined customer base to get to a set quarterly and annual target

Your responsibilities will include

• Acquisition:

oMust be able to generate credible Sales pipeline through account landscaping and whitespacing for Mobile and beyond Mobile(Fixed).

• Retention:

oMust be able to defend and protect the existing revenue by a building great relationship with clients and serving as a trusted advisor.

• Sales Targets:

oMust be able to meet monthly, Quarterly as well as annual targets as set by the business for the financial year.

• Relationship Management and Team Culture

oMaintain a close working relationship with other divisions within the wider Vodacom business units and relevant Vodafone business units.

The ideal candidate for this role will have

Technical / Professional Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years Sales or Marketing experience
• Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in the telcos space will be critical
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with CRM tools

Education:

• Matric is essential
• Sales/ Marketing certificate/ diploma/ Degree qualification is essential

Good knowledge of software architecture principles
Experience with RPA processes
Experience working in cloud-native environments
Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry beneficial

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:

• Ability to pay attention to detail is important
• SFDC Hygiene, consistently ensuring a healthy and accurate pipeline
• Ability to engage at Cx-Level with our customers
• Good interpersonal skills are essential and a team player
• Good oral and written communication skills are essential
