Job Description
Job title: Senior Civil Engineer
Vacancy type: Full time
Salary: R60 000-R80 000 + overtime
Location: Pretoria East, Gauteng
Duties:
- Design and manage stormwater and water infrastructure projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction quality and compliance.
- Lead and coordinate projects in the private sector from planning to completion.
- Prepare technical drawings, designs, and reports.
- Provide project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects comply with municipal regulations, safety standards, and engineering codes.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Solve complex engineering problems with a dynamic and proactive approach.
- Manage project risks, quality control, and site challenges effectively.
- 6-10 years experience as a Civil Engineer
- BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering
- Stormwater/Water projects experience
- Previous experience in private sector
- Strong and dynamic personality
- Able to perform site inspections
