Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Associate of Private Credit Advisory, your role will be instrumental in driving our business forward. Your responsibilities will include:

-Transaction Execution Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of transaction execution, from developing marketing strategies to negotiating term sheets. This includes creating marketing materials, reviewing or preparing client financial models, hosting investor meetings, and addressing investor inquiries.
-Business Development: Engage in proactive business development activities by attending conferences, conducting market research using tools like PitchBook, S&P Capital IQ, or MicroCap Monitor, drafting announcements, and preparing articles to expand our reach.
-Client and Investor Partner Coverage: Be the point of contact for our valued clients and investor partners, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are nurtured.
-Automation and Digitalization: Contribute to the automation of daily tasks to enhance efficiency and support our ongoing efforts to digitalize our operations.
-Cross-functional Support: Collaborate with the M&A team and other departments as needed to achieve common goals. Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

-Educational Background: Degree-level qualifications in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments, or a related field.
-Math and English Proficiency: Strong proficiency in mathematics and English (minimum matric mathematics: 80%, minimum matric English: 70%, or equivalent A-levels).
-Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience commensurate with the seniority of the role, particularly in financial institutions or credit investing/analysis.
-Financial Knowledge: Knowledge of valuation and accounting concepts.
-Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
-Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
-Adaptability: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
-Passion for Finance: A genuine interest in global economics, financial markets, and the credit sector.
-Preferred Experience: Some experience in one or more of the following areas is beneficial: Financial institutions, credit investing/analysis.
