Smt Department Supervisor
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage SMT operations to meet production schedules efficiently.
Assign responsibilities and monitor workflow for SMT Operators, Inspectors, and Material Handlers.
Conduct quality checks, approve first-off builds, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Manage SMT equipment setup, programming, and preventive maintenance.
Supervise, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment.
Host production meetings, track performance, and report key metrics.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Support customer and internal audits related to SMT processes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Diploma or degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
35 years of supervisory experience in SMT or manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of SMT processes, including AOI, programming, and reflow soldering.
Familiarity with IPC standards, quality management systems, and ERP/MRP tools.
