Skills Development Programme Manager (3 Year Contract)

:

A three year contract role has become available for a programme manager who is responsible for delivering the skills program management in line with the TFG Implementation Plan.

The role requires effective co-ordination of the programme's skills projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising. The role is crucial for creating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum. The programme manager is responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the skills programme for TFG. They will develop and maintain the programme environment to support each individual project within it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Plan Skills Development Activity across the plants as per implementation plan
  • Manage, co-ordinate and report on the End-To-End Implementation and successful Delivery Of Skills Programs as per the implementation plan across the plants
  • Ensure that all allocated projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Measure effectiveness of team activities, then prepare and implement action plans in response to feedback where change is required
  • Review program change requests and project plans. Thereafter providing recommendations on improvements
  • Engaging with stakeholders and working with them to overcome resistance to implementation
  • Ensure Learner data management and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting is effectively managed
  • Conduct data gathering and analysis to evaluate actions in line with the business strategy requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A relevant Degree
  • Relevant Project | Programme Management qualification (e.g. Prince2 | PMP | Agile experience)
  • 5-10 years proven experience in Skills Development r within a corporate environment
  • Proven proficiency in managing projects
  • Evidence of managing complex cross enterprise and cross functional teams (including external suppliers)
