Introduction
Our client, a prominent provider of plant and equipment hire services to the mining and construction industries is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join their dynamic team. Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and manage day-to-day site activities on large open cast mining operations.
Ensure that all site operations adhere to safety standards and best practices.
Coordinate with plant operators, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery, ensuring proper functioning and minimal downtime.
Lead a team of on-site personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources and delivering quality service.
Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns.
Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
Desired Experience & Qualification
2 years minimum experience in a previous supervisory role within the mining or construction industry.
Must have obtained the Examiner Makesafe qualification.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mining operations.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve site-related issues efficiently.
