Site Foreman/ Pipeline
Job Description
Coordinate and supervise the activities of workers engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines
Ensure that the work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that it is completed on time and within budget
Communicate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the project status
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and other relevant information
Train and mentor new employees, ensuring that they are properly trained in safety procedures and job duties
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipefitting and installation Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Strong knowledge of pipe materials, sizes, and fittings Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a team of pipefitters Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to enforce them on the job site Ability to maintain accurate records and reports Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments and contractors Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed National Diploma or Bsc in Civil Eng
5 year's experience Post Qualification
Experience with Eskom Projects will be advantageous
Drivers's Licence and Own Vehicle
