Site Engineer - KZNJob SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic Milling Site Engineer to oversee our milling operations and ensure the efficient and effective processing of raw material into final product. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in milling machinery, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. If you have a passion for process optimization and quality control, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead the milling team on a daily basis, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of teamwork.Monitor milling processes and equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently and meeting production targets.Troubleshoot and address any issues that arise during milling operations to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and oversee regular equipment maintenance and repairs.Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the final product meets or exceeds industry standards.Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and improved product quality.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all team members.Maintain accurate records of milling operations, production output, and equipment maintenance activities.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in milling technology to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or equivalent work experience.Government Certificate of Competency - FactoriesProfessional Certificated Engineer or Professional Engineer with ECSAProven experience in milling operations.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.Proficient in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
