As they continue to expand their portfolio of over 60MW of wind capacity, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Construction Manager to join their dynamic team. As the ideal candidate, you possess a SACPCMP Professional Construction Manager designation and hold a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. With a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in site construction management, specifically in the realm of wind energy projects, you bring a wealth of expertise to the role. Your proven track record underscores your ability to successfully oversee large-scale construction projects with a capacity exceeding 50MW, consistently delivering them on time and within budget. With a well-demonstrated history of success, you bring substantial expertise to the position, highlighting your proficiency in supervising and leading teams of supervisors on construction sites. • BSc./BTech in Engineering or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
• A SACPCMP Professional Construction Manager (Pr. CM) certification is essential

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate should demonstrate a minimum of five years of work experience, specializing as a site manager or site construction supervisor, specifically with a focus on wind or renewable energy projects
• A track record of consistently delivering successful projects within specified timelines and budgets is highly valued
• A substantial background in enforcing on-site HSE Plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and integrating HSE considerations into project planning and decision-making processes
• Exhibit a proven ability to lead site meetings, engage with project stakeholders, and produce comprehensive progress reports
• Experience in ensuring the accurate implementation of designs on-site is a valuable asset

RESPONSIBILITIES

• As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of wind energy projects, overseeing their construction phases from initiation to completion
• Your commitment to upholding stringent compliance with safety regulations and company policies will be evident throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Collaborating seamlessly with a diverse array of project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and internal teams, you will foster effective coordination to ensure the smooth progression of projects
• Implementing robust quality control processes aligned with industry standards
• Providing strong leadership and guidance to on-site construction teams, your focus will be on cultivating a cohesive and productive work environment
• Regular updates on project status will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring transparent communication with senior management
• Additionally, your responsibilities extend to coordinating with Owner Engineer teams for rigorous quality assessments and managing site supervisors for thorough inspections
• Upholding and ensuring quality standards on construction sites will be paramount, as you meticulously scrutinize contractor documentation for progress payment applications and compile milestone payment claims
• Serve as the main point of contact for subcontractors, overseeing coordination and communication efforts to ensure project success

SKILLS

• Proficient in resolving technical conflicts among diverse stakeholders
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is a requirement
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, is necessary
