Job Description
PetroMan SA (Pty) Ltd has a position available for a Fuel Management Technician SLA*, which can supply support at Sishen Mine in the Northern Cape area. (*Service Level Agreement).
The successful candidate will mainly perform new installations and maintenance of the PetroManxc2xae Fuel Management System on mobile mining equipment. The applicable candidate will be required to fulfil some duties relating to junior management and will work closely with the Site Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Grade 12 certificate or NQF 4 qualification
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Technical background and experience in the mining environment will be an advantage
- Strong auto electrical aptitude
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and Excel)
- Deadline driven with a sense of urgency
- Well organised
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Critical Thinking Skills - Problem solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers and suppliers
- Self-Starter Be able to work on your own
- Leadership capabilities will be an advantage
- Valid Code 8 (Code B) Driver's license (minimum 12 months)
- No criminal record
- Medically fit
- Hand and power tool competent
