This 6-12 month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various departments with the possibility of permanent employment.
Role Purpose:
You will support our Short-Term Insurance / Personal & Commercial Lines department, gaining a well-rounded understanding of insurance operations. You'll work closely with our team to assist with underwriting, claims, client service, and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with underwriting support, data capturing, and quote preparation.
Support the claims department with document collection and client communication.
Help maintain and update client records and policy schedules.
Provide administrative assistance, including filing and email communication.
Shadow brokers and client service consultants to learn the sales and renewal processes.
Learn to use the companys policy and claims management systems.
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
Currently studying towards or recently completed a qualification in Insurance, Business Administration, or Risk Management.
No prior insurance experience is required, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are a must.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong communication skills.
