Job Description
Our client who is an independent, specialized financial brokerage is currently looking for a Short-term Insurance Broker, in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Sales of new policies (minimum target R3 500.00 commission per month, which equates to about 10 policies).
- Servicing, maintenance, and reviews of clients on our existing book (50 clients).
- Sourcing of own leads is not required. There is an inbound call centre who cold calls and book new sales appointments.
- Managing of administrative assistant. The broker is provided with administrative support, who will assist with quotations and servicing requests.
- Minimum NQF 4 /120 credits (candidates who are still completing their qualification will also be considered, but need to still be within their DOFA date).
- RE 5 (not negotiable).
- Personal and commercial class of business, if registered as a representative after 2017.
- Minimum 3 years personal and commercial lines experience required.
- Fair knowledge of the FAIS, FICA and POPI acts.
- R30 000 CTC per month (depending on experience) + commission.
