Job Description
Job title: Shop sales assistant
Location: Chartwell/Dainfern, Johannesburg
Salary: R3200 + commission
Vacancy type: Part-time
Duties:
- Assisting walk-in customers and providing product guidance
- Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
- Promoting vape products and upselling
- Maintaining store appearance and stock levels
- General customer service and handling queries
- Working as part of a rotating shift team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales-driven mindset (able to work for commission)
- Ability to learn and explain vape products & flavours
- Reliable, punctual and able to work weekends/public holidays
- Friendly, professional and able to work unsupervised
- Retail or sales experience beneficial (not always required)
