Main Purpose:
Responsible for supervision on a shift to ensure that blood products are issued within the agreed turnaround times. Investigation of non-conformances Resolution of hospital complaints/customer complaints received on shift Preparation for internal and external audits QMS compliance Routine Medical technologist duties
Minimum Requirements
Matric Certificate National Diploma in Biomedical Technology or Bachelor of Health Sciences with Blood Transfusion Board Exam Certification. Extensive Technical Experience (3 Years post qualification in blood transfusion) Registered with HPCSA Unendorsed driver's licence Own reliable transport
A combination of the following skills, knowledge, and attributes is required
Good interpersonal and communication skills Have a friendly disposition and show keen interest in the work. A willingness to work as part of a team is essential Attention to detail
