Job Description
Shiftboss
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is looking for an energetic, sharp, dedicated and disciplined Shift Supervisor/Shiftboss to join their team.
The following are the minimum requirements:
1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. A minimum of 3 years experience in a trackless mining environment
3. Blasting Certificate
4. A completed Shiftboss Certificate of Competency
5. Competent A and Competent B Certificates
NB: Please attach your current payslip or expected rate.
Skills and Competencies required
1. Pro-active in preventing hazards
2. Decisiveness and strong problem-solving skills are crucial for managing high-risk environments and unexpected challenges
3. Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, including conflict resolution and performance management.
4. Maintain accurate safety records, prepare reports, and communicate safety performance to leadership.
