As a Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the shift, ensuring optimal picking productivity, and maintaining the efficient flow of operations.Minimum Requirements
Requirements:- Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in warehousing or distribution.
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Experience in staff management and team leadership.
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the shift to maximize picking productivity.
- Facilitate seamless information handovers to the next shift.
- Monitor and ensure the availability of an ample number of picking staff.
- Oversee the availability and upkeep of material handling equipment (MHE).
- Supervise the picking process and handle associated administrative tasks.
- Accurately report and track shift attendance.
