Job Description
Hire Resolvexe2x80x99s client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a SHEQ Officer in Kathu, Northern Cape.
The successful candidate will ensure safety and protocol through legal compliance checks, audits, monitoring, the reduction of accidents and dangerous occurrences, and address non-conformance in respect of safety, health, environmental, risk and quality standards. The candidate will also assist the Chief Safety and Risk Officer with the updating, implementing and maintaining of SHERQ systems and procedures to ensure legal compliance in all areas of the operation.
Responsibilities:
- Over-inspections
- Investigations
- Risk assessment and control
- Planning, organizing, and administration (MOS)
- Analysis and reporting (MOS)
- Customer service and support
- Legal compliances and audits
- SHERQ adherence and compliance
- Work Ethics
- Grade 12
- COSMOC or SAMTRAC 1and 2
- National Diploma in Safety/Risk Management
- Certificate in ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 31000
- At least 2 years of experience as an operational SHEQ/Safety Officer
- Salary: R550K/yr - R920K/yr, salary negotiable
