• 5 Years SHE experience in the digital format including ISO45001, ISO14001
• Computer literacy including on line submissions
• Be able to work under pressure and extended hours where necessary.
• Output and result driven
• SAMTRAC qualification

Job purpose

• Monitor standards processes, communications, training and systems
• Report on performance (in relevant areas) according to the agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/adverse according to performance levels
• follow up to ensure that corrective action are implemented where necessary and ensure that requirements are complied with.
• Reporting on all agreed action points are completed within deadliness.
• Assistance and cooperation concerning audits and remedial actions
• Proper and timely assessment of risks to health, safety quality and the environment and implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary from the assessments.
• Implementation and maintenance of prevention and precaution against, or adequate control of, exposure to hazardous substances, and danger from flammable, explosive,electrical noise and manual handling risks.
• Manage the monthly reporting related to SHE and incident, injury on duty reports and arrangements.
• Emergency procedures, first Aid facilities, safety signs, relevant protective clothing and equipment and incident reporting and assistance.
• Contribute to continual improvement of executive policy and strategy.
• Report as necessary on changes in standard (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards.
• Surveillance and reporting on Environment and heath and safety practices and systems.
• Participate in management review meetings.
• New employee and visitors inductions to be arranged.
• Assist other departments when needed(e.g service with safety files, risk assessments).
