Key Output

Provide professional support and advice to the Senior Management Team and staff on Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality and Contamination Control matters. Identify and develop a company safety, environmental and quality plan. Provide an assurance and audit role in the company. Actively work with staff and contractors areas in SHEQ and Contamination Control and assist in implementation. Produce SHEQ procedures, polices including performance reports. Responsible for reviewing accident and incident HSEQ and investigation. Actively drive SHEQ CC culture in the BRC.

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

Exceptionally proactively and self-driven Environmental Diploma and minimum of NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and NEBOSH. Relevant degree an advantage. At least 8 years' experience in health and safety management. Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation. Sound knowledge of QA systems and ISO requirements as well as Caterpillar Contamination control Computer literate (Sound knowledge of MS Office). Drivers licence - Code B Member of relevant professional institute. Attention to detail Judgement and decision-making Effective verbal and writing communication skills. Assertiveness. Investigative orientation (probing, / information seeking).
Effective interpersonal relationship. Sound knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation and experience within the industry. Experience of managing and developing staff. * Knowledge on QA systems, best practise management and ISO requirements.
