A leading organization in the corporate sector is seeking an experienced SHE Manager to oversee the implementation and management of its Safety, Health, and Environmental strategies. This role is vital to ensuring full compliance with OHS legislation, environmental standards, and ESG frameworks across all company operations.The successful candidate will work closely with internal teamsxe2x80x94including Facilities, Operations, IT, Finance, and Project Managementxe2x80x94to integrate SHE requirements into everyday activities and projects. You will also engage with external stakeholders such as regulators, contractors, vendors, and government agencies to ensure legal compliance, maintain high safety standards, and manage SHE-related risks.Key Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and enforcing SHE policies, conducting audits and risk assessments, overseeing contractor safety compliance, and implementing a zero-harm strategy.
• You will lead emergency preparedness planning, promote safety training and awareness across the organization, and ensure effective documentation and reporting of all SHE activities.
• The role also involves introducing SHE technologies and serving as the ESG Custodian, helping the organization meet environmental targets and sustainability goals.

• Bachelors or BTech degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management or a related field (NQF Level 7)
• 8+ years of experience in SHE management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of the OHS Act and related regulatory frameworks
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, SAIOSH, or SAATCA (ISO 45001/14001) are advantageous
• Industry: Financial Services/ Banking/ IT services/ services
• Proven track record in implementing SHE systems and driving cultural change
