Service Controller & Storeman

to join our dedicated team. This multifaceted role blends

control room operations, fleet coordination, and store management

, making it perfect for candidates with a strong background in logistics, hospitality, and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Control Room Operations

Monitor daily service operations and fleet movements from the control room. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, and operational disruptions. Conduct regular system checks and troubleshoot technical issues. Maintain composure during high-pressure situations. Coordinate with security personnel to ensure rapid and effective incident response. Analyse operational data and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement.

Logistics & Fleet Coordination

Ensure smooth and timely delivery of services by coordinating fleet activities. Investigate and report anomalies or deviations in fleet and facilities operations. Identify instances where SOPs are not followed and escalate appropriately. Manage day-to-day services and provide detailed feedback to management.

Storeman Duties

Maintain accurate inventory of operational supplies and equipment. Keep all storage areas clean, organised, and presentable. Assist with stock control, receiving deliveries, and issuing supplies. Monitor usage patterns and report discrepancies or shortages.

Requirements

Reside in or near Franschhoek, Paarl, or Stellenbosch, with reliable transport. Valid driver's license. Fluent in

English and Afrikaans

. Previous experience in

tourism or hospitality

. Experience in

logistics, control room operations, or storekeeping

is an advantage. Tertiary qualification in

Logistics or Operations Management

(National Diploma or equivalent). Strong communication, observation, and conflict management skills. Passionate about customer service and the tourism industry. Willingness to work

weekends, public holidays, and extended hours
