Job Description
Simpson Safes is seeking a dynamic and detailed-oriented Service and Logistics Coordinator to join the team in the Johannesburg branch. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless coordination of services and logistics operations.
Requirements:
- 3 years proven work experience in service coordination and logistics management.
- Matric / Grade 12
- Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services to clients.
- Manage logistics, including inventory control, shipment tracking, and deliver coordination.
- Act as liaison between client and service teams to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and logistics transactions.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize logistics processes and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyse logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
- Daily planning, monitoring and coordination of deliveries.
- Maintaining and managing of customers files services & complaints.
- Quality control and record keeping.
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
