Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer | Senior Server Administrator |
Enterprise Server Administrator

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Configure and maintain backup and recovery systems.
• Experience with network security protocols and tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software).
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Knowledge of server hardware and storage systems (e.g., RAID, SAN, NAS).
• Experience with monitoring and performance optimization tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux.
• Understanding of database administration principles (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain the company's VMware virtualization infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Design and deploy networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs, and ensure that they are always secure and up-to-date.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues and collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve root causes.
• Work with the IT team to manage and maintain the company's Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to virtualization, networking, and cloud services.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering and administration, with a focus on VMware virtualization, networking, and Office 365 administration.
• Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Proficient in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting networking infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Expertise in Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available for on-call support as needed.
