Position Objective:
 We're seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to lead and execute organic search strategies across both client accounts and our internal web properties. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving traffic growth, improving search rankings, and translating performance data into clear, actionable plans. You'll work across a variety of industries and site types, collaborating with developers, designers, and strategists to ensure SEO is integrated throughout everything we build--from individual campaigns to full-scale website launches.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 
 Own end-to-end SEO strategy for multiple clients, including technical, on-page, and off-page efforts 
 Conduct in-depth SEO audits, competitive gap analyses, and keyword opportunity mapping 
 Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented during builds 
 Create structured content strategies that align with UX and conversion goals 
 Manage and enhance local SEO for businesses with physical locations 
 Monitor rankings, crawl health, Core Web Vitals, and conversions using tools like Ahrefs, GA4, and Search Console 
 Present SEO findings and actionable recommendations clearly to clients 
 Perform technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog and SEMrush, and summarize issues in plain language 
 Implement on-page SEO updates in CMS platforms (primarily WordPress), including meta tags, internal linking, and schema markup 
 Conduct keyword research to support page optimization, blog content, and marketing campaigns 
 Create SEO briefs and outlines to guide content production 
 Review and optimize draft content before publishing to ensure it meets SEO standards 
 Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO-related requirements are met pre-launch (e.g., redirects, crawlability) 
 Set up and configure SEO tools and tracking for new websites 
 Generate monthly SEO reports highlighting wins, identifying issues, and proposing next steps 
 Research backlink opportunities through competitor audits and digital PR 
 Stay current with Google algorithm updates and assess their potential impact on client websites 
 Join client meetings as needed to explain SEO strategy and results in accessible terms 
 Flag technical issues or content gaps, and work with teams to resolve them efficiently 
Must-Have Qualifications: 
 10+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency setting with multiple concurrent clients 
 Proven track record of driving measurable SEO results (e.g., traffic, rankings, conversions) 
 Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console 
 Experience implementing SEO strategies across various industries and CMS platforms 
 Strong keyword research and content strategy skills aligned with business objectives 
 Ability to collaborate with developers on technical SEO needs such as indexing, redirects, and performance 
 Strong multitasking and project management skills 
 Excellent communication and the ability to present insights in clear, non-technical terms 
 Comfortable working in a fully remote, collaborative team environment 
Bonus Qualifications: 
 Experience with international SEO or multilingual websites 
 Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices 
 Experience with project management tools like Jira, ClickUp, or Asana
