About the Role:
We are hiring an SEO / AEO Content & Account Manager who will manage client relationships, lead content strategy, and oversee content delivery. This role combines project management, SEO/AEO knowledge, client communication, and hands-on content QA. The ideal candidate understands both traditional SEO and LLM-powered search trends -- and is comfortable owning outcomes from strategy through execution.
You'll work closely with our founders, AI engineers, and content team to ensure successful content delivery and organic channel growth for our clients. Success in this role means: happy clients and strong rankings across search and answer engines. Having knowledge of common CMS platforms and technical SEO would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts
Lead weekly client calls with clear agendas, reporting & more
Translate client needs into actionable internal tasks
Maintain strong, proactive communication that builds trust and retention
Respond quickly to client needs/questions / feedback via Slack/email
SEO & AEO Strategy
Develop high-intent SEO & AEO content strategies aligned with client ICPs
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and opportunity mapping
Optimize for Google Search, SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AEO channels
Identify fast-moving trends, SERP updates, and LLM-search changes impacting clients
Content Management
Manage end-to-end content delivery based on client needs
Review and QA content to ensure accuracy, structure, and brand voice
Coordinate internal writers and publishers to hit deadlines
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Create weekly and monthly client performance reports (traffic, search visibility, AEO wins, conversions)
Identify risks early and propose solutions before they become issues
Track keyword movement, Search Console data, AEO snapshots, and content velocity
You will manage and lead the organic growth efforts for multiple clients / accounts, which involves staying in direct communication with them via email / slack and leading weekly meetings to provide an update on growth metrics
Occasionally manage projects for clients involving technical SEO and more
Requirements:
Available Mon - Friday, 9 am EST - 6 pm EST (Friday can be more flexible)
This is a client-facing, high ownership position - your attitude should always be how best can I serve this client so they have a smooth experience and get more than what they expect
Great camera presence and presentation skills
Fast learner
Fast and effective communication, both via slack / email as well as in meetings
Basic to intermediate SEO / AEO experience
Working knowledge of common SEO/AEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.
Familiar with common AI / LLM tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc) and excited about AI in general!
