Kern doel van die pos:

Bemarking van wol namens produsente op gereelde veilings by die wol beurs asook wolkopers in die algemeen, sowel as alle ander funksies wat hiermee gepaard gaan.

Minimum Vereistes:

• 'n Toepaslike tersixc3xaare kwalifikasie (Lanbou Graad of Diploma);
• Grondige kennis van AWEX standaarde en maatstawwe;
• Ervaring in die wol en/of wolbemarkingsbedryf by xe2x80x98n erkende rolspeler in die industrie;
• Grondige kennis en ervaring van tipering van alle tipes Suider Afrikaanse wol;
• Geldige rybewys.

Vaardighede:

• Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office);
• Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
• Vermoxc3xab om as afslaer op te tree;
• Sterk onderhandelingsvaardighede;
• Moet onder druk kan funksioneer;
• Deeglike begrip en kennis van die wolbedryf.

Verantwoordelikhede:

• Voorbereiding van veiling katalogus;
• Waardasie en tipering van wol;
• Effektiewe kommunikasie en interaksie met kliente;
• Effektiewe kommunikasie en interaksie met kopers;
• Algemene bestuur en toesig ten opsigte van wol prosessering.

Main purpose of the position:

Marketing wool on behalf of producers at regular auctions at the wool exchange and wool buyers in general, as well as all other functions related to this.

Minimum Requirements:

• An appropriate tertiary qualification (Degree or Diploma in Agriculture);
• Thorough knowledge of AWEX standards and benchmarks;
• Experience in the wool and/or wool marketing industry with a recognised industry player;
• Thorough knowledge and experience of typing of all types of Southern African wool;
• Valid drivers license.

Skills:

• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• The ability to perform as auctioneer;
• Strong negotiation skills;
• Must be able to perform under pressure;
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of the wool industry.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of auction catalogues;
• Valuation and typing of wool;

• General management and supervision of wool processing
