Job Description
Senior Underwriter
We are looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our team. This role requires strong technical underwriting knowledge in both Commercial and Personal Lines, as well as the ability to support and guide a team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and confident working in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for accuracy and service excellence.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric) RE5 (essential) FAIS Credits: 60 Commercial + 30 Personal (advantageous) Minimum COP or relevant insurance qualification (essential) 5+ years' short-term underwriting experience (Commercial & Personal Lines) Strong technical underwriting knowledge Computer literate (MS Office) Tial or Cardinal360 experience (advantageous) Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans) Strong communication and leadership skills High attention to detail
