Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Technician who will be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair, and calibration of customer equipment both in-house and on-site. The role includes handling project work, product testing and trials, pre-installations, and providing on-site customer training. A commitment to safety, accuracy in documentation, flexibility with working hours, and a proactive approach to continuous learning are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
To carry out repairs, in-house project work, product testing/trials, pre-installations, on-site installations and commissioning, service, and calibration of customer's equipment, including the provision of on-site customer training. Handle customer queries in a fair and courteous manner, maintaining a good relationship with customer facing teams. Must be prepared to adapt to all types of environments and comply with the company's and customers' health and safety regulations. Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the company procedures. Expected to co-operate by working overtime as and when required. Must be prepared to learn a diverse set of equipment and continually improve your knowledge base. Provide technical support via phone and email where required.
Skills and Requirements
Matric (minimum); additional qualifications are advantageous. 5 years experience (minimum)
