Assist the instrumentation section head with the management of the instrumentation maintenance personnel and tasks in order to maintain a high standard of routine and ad-hoc maintenance activities in accordance with the prescribed management programmes within the SAFARI - 1 reactor. Assist and support with ensuring that the maintenance programmes and ad-hoc maintenance activities are maintained and that they comply with the applicable quality management system. Continual reporting on the above to the instrumentation section head in order to evaluate and review the effectiveness of the maintenance programme. Support the FE group with implementation and commissioning of projects. Provide ongoing on the job training and/or coordination to reactor instrumentation maintenance personnel regarding plant related tasks and schedules.
Key Performance Areas
Maintenance Of Reactor And Irridation Facilities (Ipr Rigs, Beam Lines ,Pneumatics, Ringas And Silicon Rig
Maintenance efficiency and reliability of reactor systems Including irradiation facilities.
Implement and assemble enhanced systems independently.
Plan and perform maintenance as per MPR and AD Hoc data base.
Replacement refurbishment and upgrade of reactor plant equipment as per schedule.
Regulatory compliance as per OTS and SAR
Management Systems
SHEQ systems.
Up to date and effective implementation of level 3 documents/drawings/critical spare list, RFM system and literature system.
Maintain an effective documentation and records system on completed maintenance work.
Prepare work procedures and checklists including the updating of instrumentation drawings.
Maintain and develop the systems according to needs for the control of drawings, components, spares and tools.
Assist and support with ensuring the continual upgrading and revision of the relevant instrumentation maintenance documentation and programme

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
National Diploma in Instrumentation.
Experience
At least 5 years' experience with a thorough knowledge regarding nuclear instrumentation and or systems as well as aspects related to quality assurance and environmental control systems (regulatory and legislative requirements) in a nuclear facility.
Electronic, computer and process control experience.
Computer literate preferably with good programming skills.
Good understanding of functioning and capabilities of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers.
