Job Purpose

To supplement the skillset and offering of the existing SLR Africa Mine Waste and Geotechnical Engineering teams.

Qualification& experience

Senior Civil Engineering Technologist/ Engineer with 5-10 years' experience in the tailings industry

Experience with general engineering design project management, construction contract administration and site supervision

Proficient in Word, Excel and Geo-Slope/Slide

Must be willing to travel

Professionally registered with ECSA (PrEng) would be an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring/ surveillance

Design of all levels of tailings facilities and related infrastructure

Site CQA work

Costing

Reporting

Assistance with key client work
