Senior Systems Administrator
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a hands-on approach to managing IT systems, and a passion for solving complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in IT or a related field
Minimum of 6 years' experience in IT
Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies
Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols
Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software support
Key Advantageous Skills (Not Mandatory):
JIRA and/or Salesforce exposure
ZKTeco Access Control software and hardware knowledge
Experience working with Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview
Knowledge of UniFi networking devices
Experience with Atera (RMM platform)
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for all Microsoft-related queries, from user issues to advanced configurations such as policies and security baselines
Take ownership of networking infrastructure, including design, troubleshooting, and switch replacements
Lead new software projects, including system integrations, Intune deployments, and internal rollouts
Provide support and long-term solutions for hardware and software issues
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain system performance and optimize service delivery
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R30000,00 - R35000,00 per month
