Senior Sql Developer (initial One Year Contract)

Job Description
A client, that developed a software solution package (administration and accounting) tailored specifically for the retirement fund industry, is looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join their team on an initial one (1) year contract (possibility of perm thereafter).
Qualifications:
- BSc Actuarial Science or BSc IT
- Minimum 6 years' experience in SQL Development
- Microsoft T-SQL Experience
- Fluently code in Stored Procedures
- Understand the fundamentals of indexing
- Database administration
- Knowledge of finance (accounting and investments) is required
- Relational database design
- Identify drawbacks and make improvements
- Consult with client teams
- Test procedures
- Report writing
- Data conversion
- Analyze the performance of stored procedures
- Interpret an execution plan
