Job Summary Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have at least three to five years in a similar, luxury lodge kitchen
  • A Rwandan National is preferred
  • Must have an outstanding Food Portfolio
  • Must have a full understanding of kitchen procedure
  • The ability to design a menu is essential
  • Great knowledge of different dietary requirements
  • Must have the ability to train and oversee staff
  • A good understanding of labour legislation
  • Must be extremely passionate about the job!
  • Solid understanding of hygiene and associated protocols
  • Must be very well-presented and well-groomed
  • Brilliant communication skills both written and spoken
  • Must be positive and motivated
  • Excellent stamina and willingness to go above and beyond
  • Must have genuine love for guest delight
