Job Description


The role is market facing, and will focus on the B2B market with the products and services of the BU and the broader value proposition. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of exceptional sales over a sustained period of time and will be required to maintain multiple client relationships, understand and demonstrate knowledge of all 3 phases of Jobs, the complex sales process and all 1st Principles. A detailed understanding of the 7 Funnel process and BAR Dashboard metrics is a pre-requisite for this position

Job Specifications:
Key deliverables include (but not limited to):
Work with (and expand where possible) current prospect database to generate effective leads and exceed sales targets for the business
Identify and help define the Job Atlas and define the drills that we will deliver to the market
Develop a sales contact plan, assist in the development of the direct marketing plan, and attend industry events to build relationships with key prospects
Respond to incoming requests for information and requests for proposals in a professional and creative manner
Understand each prospects business needs and work with the expert teams (internally and externally) to develop a tailored proposal/solution
Work closely with colleagues to identify common new business prospects and cross-sell integrated search and affiliate proposition
Represent at industry events, including round tables, speaking forums and new business events
Enhance own development by taking responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry knowledge
Develop new business proposals
Work closely with the implementation team to demonstrate expertise at new business presentations in accordance with JTBD.
Contribute to the learning environment by identifying areas where there is potential for learning and building knowledge with others.
Foster, nurture and develop relationships with prospects and customers/clients.

Minimum Requirements:
A 3-year bachelors degree or equivalent in either Business or HR OR
Minimum 3 to 5 years business development experience (client research, identifying client triggers, cold calling clients) and learning over this time
Previous experience in sales role, preferably in learning solutions sales
Must have good industry/business and technical knowledge in order to draw on when doing research and having introductory conversations with prospects and clients
Ability to plan, schedule and organize as well as monitor and control work on a short and long-term basis
Ability to meet strict deadlines and reach weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets
Must have proven research and/or sales & Marketing track record
Must have excellent people skills to establish and build client relationships
Must be able to work in a highly pressurized environment
Must be able to work within a structured sales process
