Dow Consumer Solution (DCS) has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Specialist, focused on solutions to African Customers/Markets with technologies & products they need to achieve a number of high-performance attributes across 6 key market segments. This role will focus on the B&I (Building and Infrastructure) Segment which provides high value solutions by utilizing Dowxe2x80x99s unique Silicone Technologies. Our vast technical resources deliver on current and future needs through application expertise and innovation.
About You
We are looking for a Sales Specialist with basic business acumen for the Building and Infrastructure value center. We require an incumbent with strategic thinking, and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing as well as existing accounts in Africa, who are growing rapidly. In this role you will have the responsibility to support the growth of the B&I Market, generate new opportunities and contribute to growth and market expansion. You would be working with distributors as partners to create leads/opportunities and manage business momentum by focusing on growth, as well as direct accounts. Responsibilities will range from small to medium size customers to large distribution and logistics partners.
The role includes generating leads, outlining sales territories, managing sales analytics, fixing technical problems of customers.
You will be required to coordinate across all functions, including sales, marketing, TS&D, R&D, business communication, and product management as well as with peers, key customers, distributors, and relevant teams in the other regions as necessary.
To maximize asset utilization, you will be responsible for forecast accuracy by working with Customers/ Distributors to enhance Dowxe2x80x99s capabilities to meet demand under a dynamic environment. You will be responsible to manage your portfolio, commercialize short to mid term opportunities through CRM whilst aligning to local and global strategies.
