Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR)Role Overview



The Senior SDR is responsible for driving top-of-funnel activity, engaging with prospective clients, and creating qualified opportunities for the sales team. This role blends outbound prospecting, inbound lead conversion, and relationship-building to accelerate pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities



Prospecting & Outreach

Proactively identify and engage target accounts through multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn, events). Qualify prospects against ICP (ideal customer profile) and buying criteria.

Lead Conversion

Respond to inbound leads with speed and precision. Nurture leads through personalized follow-up and value-driven communication.

Appointment & Meeting Generation

Consistently book high-quality meetings and appointments with decision-makers. Ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads to the Account Executive (AE) team.

Pipeline Contribution

Drive pipeline creation by achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly activity and conversion targets. Track and report lead progress in CRM (e.g., GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce).

Process Improvement & Mentorship

Share best practices, scripts, and outreach techniques with the SDR team. Provide feedback on messaging, lead qualification, and pipeline-building strategies.

Key Goals & Metrics



Appointments & Meetings

Book a set number of qualified meetings per week/month (KPI-driven).

Lead Conversion Rate

Convert a targeted percentage of inbound/outbound leads into qualified opportunities.

Pipeline Impact

Directly influence revenue by contributing a measurable percentage of pipeline growth.

Activity Metrics

Maintain consistent daily/weekly activity levels across outreach channels.

Ideal Candidate Profile



2-4 years of SDR/BDR experience, with proven success in outbound prospecting and lead conversion. Strong communication skills--able to craft compelling messages and hold engaging conversations with executives. Comfortable with sales technology (CRM, automation tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing platforms). Resilient, coachable, and motivated by hitting and exceeding targets. Leadership mindset--able to mentor, share knowledge, and elevate the overall SDR function.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R20000,00 - R26500,00 per month
