Job Description
A well-established, premium restaurant located in Kyalami is seeking a Senior Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a strong front- and back-of-house team. The restaurant is known for its high service standards, consistent quality and loyal customer base. The ideal candidate will bring solid operational knowledge, financial acumen, and a structured approach to team management and service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role within a high-volume or full-service establishment.
- Hands-on experience with GAAP or Dawn Plan POS systems.
- Strong Excel capability for reporting, costing, and performance tracking.
- Proven experience managing teams of 20+ employees.
- Knowledge of stock control, cost management, and cash-up procedures.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with attention to operational accuracy.
- Manage and coordinate all daily restaurant operations to maintain service and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams to meet performance objectives.
- Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and supplier coordination to achieve budgeted cost targets.
- ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including sales, labour, and cost of goods.
- Work closely with ownership to implement business strategies and operational improvements
