Summary
A leading provider of software solutions in Bellville for South Africa's agricultural industry, specialising in end-to-end supply chain traceability for the fruit and agriculture sectors, seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist.
You will ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our web-based produce brokering solution, designed for exporters, agents, and logistics providers, offering logistics management, financial payments, and full traceability. This is a permanent role working Hybrid environment.
As a QA Specialist, you will conduct manual and automated testing, develop test plans and scripts, and collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure software quality. The role focuses on our solution, featuring planning, orders, logistics, financials, dashboards, and mobile integrations.
Description
Key Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory, usability, functional, and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and automated scripts using Test Cafe (TypeScript).
• Conduct root cause analysis and report defects.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Improve QA processes and documentation.

Minimum Requirements
Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4+ years in QA/software testing.
• Experience in manual and automated testing, web/mobile apps, GUI, back-end, and UAT.
• Proficiency in Test Cafe (TypeScript), SQL, and API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Familiarity with Java, C#, .NET, or Clarion.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of agricultural or traceability software.
• Experience in agile or DevOps environments.
