Senior Project Manager - Corporate Catering - Northern Suburbs, Cape Town
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our Corporate Catering operations at a large corporate site in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire catering function, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
Offering will range from canteen and on-the-go meals to gala dinners, corporate cocktail functions and executive suite catering
Description

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the catering service, including menu planning, staff scheduling, and event execution.
• Lead a team of chefs, kitchen staff, and service personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their catering needs are met with exceptional service.
• Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Continuously assess and improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through regular feedback and performance reviews.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in project management within the hospitality or corporate catering industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong menu and culinary knowledge, or a chef background, will be highly favoured
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A qualification in hospitality management, business management, or a related field is preferred.
