Job Description
The Senior Project Manager will take projects, run, implement and manage client and staff to fulfil the client requirements.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the overall Project Deployment function which includes (but not limited to):
Managing the deployment of project deliverables Tracking and reporting on project milestones Managing equipment projections for projects Scheduling installations as required with relevant role players.
Resource Scheduling, which includes (but not limited to):
Scheduling calls using the internal system. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Identifying and resolving issues impending on project delivery, which includes (but not limited to):
Collecting input from all stakeholders to identify and address risks that have evolved into issues. Managing the execution of all rollout plans to proactively prevent issues from escalating and, if necessary, seek additional assistance Ensuring comprehensive information gathering and the identification of actionable steps to explore various ideas for resolution.Implement best practice project management tools, which includes (but not limited to):
Regularly assessing the performance of project management tools and recommend improvements or updates as needed. Collaborating with stakeholders to understand project requirements and customize tools accordingly. Develop and maintain documentation for project management processes and tool usage guidelines.
Qualifications
Must have completed a 3- or 4-year Project Management Qualification at a recognised Higher Learning Institution Should have at least 5-8 years proven work experience as a Project Manager in an IT Environment. Knowledge of system/industry best practice Must have good communication skills. Attention to detail. Understanding of client core business culture and needs Understanding of retail advantageous
